Edible Glitter on Gummy Bears

In my last post, I explored how Flavored Edible Glitter™ can change the flavor profile of Ice Cream. Well, here is another way of looking at things. The Gummy Bears above all started the same color, a light yellow. When you make gummies, the finished gummies are released from a mold and they are slightly sticky. They are often rolled in powder, like a starch, to keep them from sticking together. If you roll them in a blend of starch and edible glitter, this is what happens! The Edible Glitter™ on these bears is just on the surface. The color change is dramatic. The colors shimmer and these bears really stand out. Just a few sparkling gummies in a bag of regular bears could be a great product-line extension.
